The repass service following the passing of Mr. Samuels’ mother. The chef who catered the service possessed an extraordinary talent for Caribbean cuisine and shared his dream of reaching a wider audience with Mrs. Samuels. Moved by his culinary gifts and aspirations, the Samuels saw an opportunity to mentor this talented chef, and decided to create a platform to give him the opportunity to showcase his talents and elevate Caribbean cuisine. They chose their community of Snellville, Georgia, as the perfect location to bring their vision to life. While the area had several Jamaican restaurants, none offered a fine dining experience seven days a week into the late evening. Escovitchez filled this void, providing an intimate upscale dining experience that eliminated the need for suburban residents to venture into the city for sophisticated date nights. While the original chef is no longer with them, the Samuels have maintained their unwavering commitment to elevated Caribbean cuisine while continuously evolving the concept to new heights. The Snellville location welcomes guests for dinner Monday through Friday, and from noon until 11 PM on Saturdays and noon until 9 PM on Sundays.

After five successful years, we’re proud to announce the expansion of the Escovitchez brand with our second location in Tucker, GA, serving both lunch and dinner daily. Our goal for the Tucker location is to bring the same elevated Caribbean dining experience to Atlanta’s eastern suburbs while introducing new menu innovations and expanded hours to serve both the lunch and dinner crowds. This expansion represents not just growth, but our commitment to making fine Caribbean cuisine more accessible to Atlanta’s diverse communities.
